C.A.R.E. Program

Care, Assistance, Resources, Empowerment

Families experiencing a crisis may apply for assistance through the C.A.R.E. Program. See below for Emergency assitance information.

Assistance is provided to families that reside in the Mansfield Independent School District.

Participants are requested to make an appointment with a C.A.R.E. Counselor to discuss a solution-focused “Action Plan.”

The amount and type of assistance provided is based on the outcome of the assessment meeting and the amount of available resources for the month.

Assistance may include financial support, community referrals and program resources.

Emergency assistance

We help people in the Mansfield ISD with emergency financial assistance such as utilities, rent and food. Call 817-473-6650 to make an appointment.

Appointments are available Monday-Friday. You will meet privately with a C.A.R.E. Counselor who can help you with your need. When making an appointment, you will be asked to bring a photo ID and the bill with which you need help.

Your C.A.R.E. Counselor will also have information about programs to help you with other needs in your life.
